Ten Reasons Why I Should Work at Moon Cove Marina

  1. I like helping boats as they are coming in to the dock. I am very good at catching ropes and directing other people which ropes to catch.
  2. I have a beard, chest hair, and unprofessional hair; I would fit right in up north.
  3. There are no meetings about master data maintenance at Moon Cove Marina.
  4. I attended 1/5th of the new-hire training program on Friday by accident.
  5. I could design them a new computer system to keep track of their inventory (I saw their current one and it kind of frightened me).
  6. I could spend 5 minutes driving a boat to work instead of an hour and a half driving a car to work.
  7. It is not very difficult to get behind on your work when your work is pumping gas.
  8. I meet their strict employment requirement of: ‘A Bachelor of Information Systems with First Class Honours in Enterprise Resource Planning Systems’.
  9. Moon Cove Marina pays overtime.
  10. I understand that working for Moon Cove Marina is not a job, it is a career… I am willing to treat it as such.
